North East Maritime Trust

Working to preserve the wooden vessels and the maritime skills of the North East of England

North East Maritime Trust

Welcome, this is North East Maritime Trust at South Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE33 1LQ.
NEMT’s focus is on our regionally important historic boats, including working boats, restoration, repair and maintenance. This also includes practical training and even sailing for appropriate participation.
Education is now a major addition to our portfolio including the building of plywood rowing boats for the South Shields Sea Cadets.

Everyone is more than welcome to join our team.
